Hi!

My name is Ireland. Yes, I am Irish (It would be kind of weird if I wasn’t right?). But I am also Puerto Rican (Woah, I bet you didn’t see that one coming). I grew up in Syracuse, NY where my passion for performing was sparked by my breakout role of “rock” in my fourth grade production of The Jungle Book Jr.

After graduating from Nazareth University with my BFA in Musical Theatre, I moved to Brooklyn with my partner and my cat (her name is Soda). I am currently an usher at the Blue Man Group.

I am very passionate about representation in the theater industry. As a queer, plus-size Latina, I don’t see a lot of people like me onstage and I want to be a part of changing that. I love to make people laugh so it's no surprise that I love doing improv comedy. I also have a passion for Shakespeare (especially making Shakespeare gay). I studied at the Globe Theatre in London during my senior year of college which was a dream come true and deepened my passion for the bard.

Okay but what about non-performing stuff? I love hiking (living in the city has me really missing nature), I play DnD (current character is a gnome monk), and I collect Pokemon cards (I have a whole shelf in my apartment dedicated to my collection).
